Refunds

last updated 27 September 2026

The short version

You buy credits in packs (2 for $8, 5 for $20, 15 for $50), and one credit is used only when an agreement locks. Unused credits from a pack bought in the last 14 days are refundable on request. Credits already used on a locked agreement are not.

What you are buying

A credit pays for one agreement to lock: both parties have confirmed every line, the record is fingerprinted, and the PDF goes to both of you. That is delivered in full at the moment of locking, which is why a used credit isn’t refunded, even if the other party later disagrees or a verdict goes against you. Your first 3 locked agreements are free, so you can see exactly what you’re paying for before you pay.

Unused credits

Within 14 days of buying a pack, you can ask for a refund of the credits from that pack you haven’t used. We refund them at the price you paid per credit and remove them from your balance. After 14 days, credits stay on your account and don’t expire.

Things we always make right

If something goes wrong with the payment itself (you were charged twice, or you paid and the credits never arrived and we can’t fix it), we refund the broken charge. If we shut OnRecord down, we refund all unused credits.

Paddle, the merchant of record

Payments are processed by Paddle: the checkout is theirs and the charge on your statement comes from them. Paddle runs its own refund policy for the transaction and, as the seller of record, can grant a refund under it at its discretion, including where we would not have.

Your statutory rights

If you are a consumer in the UK, the EU, the EEA, or Switzerland, you may have a right to withdraw from a digital purchase within 14 days. Nothing on this page removes any refund right that the law where you live gives you.

How to ask

Email shamil.bedru.hassen@gmail.com from the address on your account, or use the link on the receipt Paddle sent you. Either route works; the receipt route goes straight to the seller of record.

Where this policy lives

This page restates the refund terms in the Terms. The Terms are the agreement; if this page and the Terms ever disagree, the Terms win.
